While freedom is the primary ingredients to the success of the United States, it’s aided by a blessing of perfect geography. The multitude of great rivers flow south from the greatest agricultural lands in the world. Their travels consumating with the mighty Mississippi river and then to the Gulf of Mexico; providing America with an affordable means to transport goods from the bread basket of the world to the globe.

While technology has changed over the years, the voyages along these rivers continues today. The river pilots ensure a steady supply of food and energy to the world, while also making for a beautiful backdrop to a sunset in Marietta, Ohio.
