North American T-6G Texan

While I was at the Pickaway County Airport (KCYO) over the weekend, I had the opportunity to see this beautiful 1952 North American T-6G Texan.

These U.S. military single-engine advanced trainers were used to instruct pilots during WW2. They continued a successful career, operating in the same role until the 1970s.

For a not so small fee… this bird was giving rides. She sounds as good as she looks, too! 😎
